Window Utils

A small utility for controlling other windows on your desktop.

I originally made this for myself because I needed a quick way to keep a window on top, lower its opacity, or make it click-through while doing other work. Instead of installing large tools with a lot of features I don’t use, and I just decided to make a very simple program.

What it can do:

• Pin any window on top of others

• Change window opacity with a slider

• Make a window click-through (so you can interact with things behind it)

• Reset opacity back to normal

• Scale the utility window itself

• Auto-reset opacity on exit

Just select a window and then use the controls.

The program is lightweight and doesn’t run in the background after you close it. When the utility exits, it restores modified windows back to their normal state.
